Not really sure why it has a lock. You can easily remove the four T30 screws and the whole thing separates from the bed.

Make sure you install these before you really need to use them.
The instructions inform you to turn the key clockwise, slide upward, turn the key counter clockwise, remove key.

Good luck with that.

It left out the part where you grab a dead blow hammer. Tap it up left side right side....until it reaches the top.
You're not going to just slide it into position without the help of your trusty beating iron.

Bought 4 of these a month ago. Didn't know they came with truck. Figured they would be a dealer bought thing. I see the American site lists a smoker kit. Cannot find it on Canadian site. Big difference on standard raptor between countries. And internet window sticker for Canada says not for sale in US

This is "The Stubby" Made in Portland, Oregon, USA
by: CRAVENSPEED
Including the base on the truck, it measures 4" to the tip.
The original Raptor antenna is 32".
I tuned in a local FM station and it works just fine.
It is unlikely that I will ever listen to FM again on this radio. I have the stubby just in case.
My old Raptor had an 8" rubber antenna. After 7 years and 148,000 miles it had a permanent curve aft from blowing in the wind.
The new Stubby is stiff..I doubt it will bend.
Looks a little weird to me. I was used to the 8".
The long antenna was clunking on the garage door opening. I know some Raptor owners like to use the long antenna to judge the distance in parking garages. The original antenna is 10" above the roof. That wouldn't work for me. I cant go slow enough to get the Raptor stopped before it travels from antenna to roof.

Total combined weight of occupants and cargo:
Old Raptor 863 pounds
New Raptor 899 pounds.
What does that mean????

Well if you have 5 people riding in the cabin and each person is 160 pounds. And you have a 100 pound dog tied down in a kennel in the cargo area, then you have overloaded your vehicle. If you add to that number any other objects that may be somewhere in the vehicle, such as tools or handbags and you will really be overloaded.

A better example might be having 2 guys(200 lbs each) and 6 bags of cement mix in the back you are at the weight limit.

Just something to keep in mind....

Wow!!!!
Look at the date on the tires.
Tires were manufactured week of November 19, 2016 and the truck waa built 2 weeks later on December 5, 2016.
What a fast turnover.

Recommended psi is now 38
Old Raptor was 44

I think this is for off road use to keep shocks form bottoming out. But I'm guessing.
