I had my gas can put there at havoc last year. After havoc I noticed wear spots on the gas can from the hi-lift. You may want to put something between the two there. I will say my can was not one of heavy duty ones like you have ther though.

You should change the strap for the Yeti. The Yeti has two slotted holes under the lid that can fit a 1" nylon strap. Get a long cam strap with no hooks and thread it through and around the bed rack. That way you can get to your beer easier.
