Dam nice truck, love diesels. Was on the razors edge between a diesel and the Raptor...went the latter route, not sorry cept for probly fuel burn. Some plus' for the Raptor are very comfortable ride for driver and passengers including entry/exit, fits in the garage and generally people have seen very few of them around. Best to just drive one 4UrSelf. Welcome.

Welcome from Dallas. Really nice ride there, but... if offroading is your thing - definitely go with the Raptor. You are in for one helluva ride!

Thanks guys, there's a lot of pluses I've found so far with the raptor. The comfortable factor would be really nice, as would being able to get it in my garage.

Although my current truck looks like I use it Offroad, I don't really, except for a couple times in a little mud. I'm super picky about maintaining my truck and keeping it clean to the point that every 6 months or less I get under it with some degreaser and a scrub brush. I'd definitely use the raptor a little Offroad but mainly it'd be my daily driver.

One of the main reasons I like the raptor so much is I think I could leave it relatively stock with just wheels and tires with adjusting the suspension up. With what I've got now I'm constantly concerned if I drive it too hard I'm gonna be buying a new trans or having to fix expensive crap in the engine. But after it being tuned there's no way I could go back to stock. It's just too much of a difference in mpg and power.
