New 37's

The General 37's are not DOT approved and most insurance company's will void your insurance if you get in an accident related to tires in any way. Auto Club here in So Cal told me if I ran a non DOT tie they would void my insurance policy immediately... Just an FYI...

Thanks, the tires ride great, they are a little bit louder than an AT tire but less than a MT. I have noticed a loss of mpg but not enough to make me want to go back to 35's.

Just curious as what's the reasoning for general grabbers 37s not being DOT approved? Really interested in getting me a set but don't want to cause conflict with my insurance company.

It costs a small fortune to have the tires DOT tested and approved. if there is enough demand I'm sure they will look into it. None of the BFG project T/A 37's or 39's are DOT approved either...
