I am a new to Raptors and the forum in general. I was curious to know if anyone knows if the new 3.0 Fox shocks have clear coating protection? If not, what is the best way to protect them if you live in the salt belt? A friend of mine was telling me that he had a pair of fox shocks on his F150 that corroded horribly in less than a year and he washes his trucks regularly. The rest of his truck is pristine but his shocks look like they are 15 years old. This is my 1st Raptor and Fox shocks are one of the key points of the vehicle. I would like to keep the investment looking nice and working well as long as possible.
Thanks in advance,
Tone

On my other Raptors during the winter months I would spray a non corrosive waterproof lubricant on the valve body that would protect them during the months with salt.

These are what mine look like after 3 northeast winters. I have been spraying them with anti corrosive and still they go to sheet. On a side note Fox is willing to do nothing for you. They were not interested in getting a new sticker kit out to me. They were like these are a very expensive sticker kit I'll send you a email with a link to some cheaper stickers. Never did send it to me. Think I'm going to sand them down and paint them. Then I'll slap on some Rancho stickers on them !!!!

I have to say the Boeshield T-9 did a great job in the winter months here in Maryland.
