$3500 is a lot of money for a PCM tune and you will not see anywhere near 100 HP from it without other costly aftermarket parts.

I recommend avoiding the PCM order from your dealer and buying something much cheaper ($700-1000) from one of the well respected tuners on this forum. MPT, Cobb, Gearhead, Whipple, etc.

I have had the MPT 93 PRX running on my modded 2018 for over two years without issues and have never had it into the dealer for anything but oil changes. My three tunes were $695, which included the NGauge tuner itself.

An aftermarket IC will not affect the performance, other than to lower your temps to prevent heat soak.

To my knowledge there is no Ford Tune.

The dealer is charging you extra because they’re going to honor your warranty, not Ford, and I would not expect that warranty to be transferable between dealers.

if they are sending away the PCM, it sounds like they’re sending it to Whipple. Which means they’re estimating 100 horsepower. The very best aftermarket tunes on pump gas are good for between 50-80 RWH.

50-80whp only? Doesn’t seem like that to me, seems like +100 is pretty common, the truck bone stock is gonna pick up 20-30whp just running 93 over 87
