Seeing how this is over a year from production I am hoping the update the exterior a little to make it a bit more aggressive stance like the gen 1. The front on this just does not look as mean. I also hope it can accommodate 37's.

I would have loved a EB v8, but at least this is a halo engine going in like the GT500 had and the new GT350 and new GT is getting. They could have just thrown a 3.5L EB that is in the F150 with a slight tune and called it a day.

So I say thank you for giving it an engine worthy of being in the raptor.

its still the same truck, its just 500lbs less with aluminum frame and V6 twin turbo. offroad i would think you want all the low end torque from V8 or Straight block. seems like the V6TT is for all out HP and top end. maybe of the rpm band of the turbos are from idle to 2k. 10 speed trans sounds cool, but im thinking weaker gears at the point also. i think once the truck is out and the interior products come up for sale, thats gonna be the ticket to mod out the current generation of trucks. i think ford did a great job making a truck for the street queen users.

Is there something wrong with being a street king (queen)? Just because I don't beat the shit out of my truck or participate in off-road events doesn't make me any less of a person.....just saying

i mean if you like taking quality american made louisville slugger bat and playing whiffle ball with it, or getting a Hellcat and running to grocery store. Ford made quality product meant to be used offroad. if you wanted to look cool with an expensive truck, there is the platinum or and FX2 with $25k more in upgrades. the flip side is why did I buy an expensive truck and beat the shit out of it, well the same, to look cool. but i look cool in the desert, going fast, and in the sand.

I didn't read all 1000 posts so I apologize if someone already commented on this but I'm assuming only the scab will be out in 2017. I will have to wait until 2018 model year to get a screw??!! (That's what my wife said)

No - it's in the press release. Both will be offered!!

I don't think I ever saw a Raptor on a lot for less that $55,000 (sticker). That probably won't change. Same trim kits, higher-end, etc I bet.

Stumbled on mine on the lot brand new for 53k sticker. Every option except hood graphics and front camera. I just hope when the '17 comes out you can get the sun roof without the crap infotainment system.

I'm ok with everything except that front end. It's not bad, but the lines on the current gen are far superior IMO. I hate that baby Super Duty look they've got going on with this redesign.
