Hey guys. I just put in an order for a brand new 2014 Supercab Raptor. I'm going to be supercharging it, but I'm debating on which direction to go. I've done some research, but I figured I'd throw it out to y'all as well.

It boils down to the Roush supercharger package (SC, intake, and exhaust) or the ProCharger system with Borla or some other type of exhaust (TBD later if I go this route).

I'm going to be primarily driving this thing around town as my DD, but I want to be able to have an effective off-road toy as well.

I've heard both, but only driven a 2010 ProCharged one. I LOVE the sound of the ProCharger, but I like that the Roush is more warranty friendly.

Any input would be much appreciated.

Thanks.

Did you research this thread?

I have yet to hear anything about anybody actually running one yet.

I know the name on the link is wrong but it brings you to the right place.
Corvette Supercharger Kits

I did check out that whole thread, but I'm able to get a good deal on both the Roush and the ProCharger but not Whipple.

I have seen that ProCharger set up, and it's pretty sexy.

Maybe I should just spend the extra coin though and go with the Whipple...

We have placed a Whipple in both the truck that we own, and the WD-40 SEMA F-150. We've had no problems and they are great. As for a comparison, I wish I could give you one, but I've had no exposure to the Roush and ProCharger. Either way, more horsepower = more smiles! :headbang:

why does everyone say "get a fire extinguisher" on these SC threads? i've not seen anyone mention his supercharger caught fire -- what is the issue (i'm five days from my raptor build and contemplating the roush set-up)
