The 727 was not a RWHP number. The dyno shop gave your friend a RWHP number of 690, right?

I didn't say 750 was RWHP. Originally his was making a little over 690 at the crank.

Soooo... for $40k he got only 690 hp because Roush is shit ("garbage")? Dealership claims 720 hp, he got 690 hp on maybe a different dyno, maybe different fuel, maybe different weather... I'd say close enough. Glad it now makes 750 hp but for the price paid with a dealership warranty, I'd say that's a pretty cool deal.

He's also 73 yrs old so a V6 Mustang would have probably been enough for him.

Honestly, they may be willing to do more than $2k. I was surprised when they gave me $2k off my '18, but when I asked if they would honor the same on the '17, they quickly said yes which leads me to believe there could be more wiggle room since it's a '17. Anyway, I was just passing on to the Forum in case someone is looking for one similar.

Edit: I just spoke to my salesman, and he said the dealership is all in at $2k off sticker. So, while this is better than many deals out there, it may be a deal breaker for most since it's a '17. Nonetheless, the discount is there for anyone interested.

How did they arrive at 690 crank? Sounds like they just arbitrarily applied a driveline loss number and it was wrong.
Lebanon Ford does have many great performance package... they have been doing it a few years. Quite the bargain they are!

I wasn't there so I don't know for sure. But the shop that dyno'd it and the shop that dyno tuned it came to the same conclusion, it was definately under powered compared to the advertised #s of 727. I do know that his car sat on the lot for a few weeks before Lebanon could tune it because they didn't have a tune for his strategy code and he wasn't happy. So I'm guessin' that different strategy codes may get different results??
