Cool! Enjoy it. Mine has worked out great for me. Only thing I would recommend is swapping out the gas struts. It comes with 45lb struts. I swapped them out for 90lb struts. Go to www.liftsupportsdepot.com and search for these part numbers. They’re direct replacements. I paid something like $65. Well worth the money:

Gus... thanks, these upgraded struts are going on order as I had my first experience loading gear on top the Ridgelander, adding two snowboards and that was enough to cause the stock struts to collapse down and slam the cover shut... scared the shit out of me as I thought it was fully engaged to the open and stable position, and it came down pretty QUICK...
The 90lb struts should solve that issue so thanks again. Here are some pics so far of my setup.20190407_163637.jpg20190407_163805.jpg20190407_163647.jpg20190406_144858.jpg

Yeah those are a must unfortunately. I think the struts they come with are what they’d use for just the cover without the racks or baskets/carriers. Those 90 lb struts will hold two bikes up so you should be ok.

Can you share what Thule basket you're using? Thanks!

This looks like a sweet platform. Im weighing on buying a pace Edwards rolling/retractable top with integrated rails as I often carry items taller than the topper itself. But this definitely looks like a good alternative for all the reasons mentioned above.

I looked closely at that setup but the roll up box near the cab took too much space and the dealers I spoke to said that if you need a full bed, it really wasnt meant to be removed and re-installed, so that was my consideration to go the route I did vs a roll topper version.

Good luck with whatever route you end up taking - lots of good options available.
