I'm heading to OKC on Friday, live about 2 hours away so pretty determined to walk out with something which may already put me at a disadvantage in the dealers mind. I'm currently driving a 2012 Ecoboost and this dealer has a TON of Raptors. There are a few that they have, what I consider, priced extremely well. BUT this is where I'm nervous. They are kind of shady online with their pricing. They list the Roush and Shelby prices at the bare bones price, so 59,999 or something close. I called them on that price and was asked if I looked through all the pictures. The lady then directed me to the last picture with the Roush window sticker... Sure enough 85k. Why not list $85k? Already have a bad feeling about dealing with these people, but they have the most inventory of 2019 and 2020s in 200 miles of me. Any tips?

It's an 802A Lead Foot w/
Twin Moonroof
Carbon Fiber Package
Foldable bed extender
Forged Wheels
2nd row heated seats.
Not sure I can list prices on here, but it's on 65k.

Have your finances set before you show up.

I showed up with a check written out for my truck that accounted for my trade and the price of the truck. I slid the check over to the salesman, and told him to take it to his boss. You can sell a truck (truck and explorer in my case) write now, or i will take this check to the other ford dealer who will take the deal.

They do that with the Roush to hide true cost to you. Roush takes a bare bones truck then adds $10k worth of stuff to it. Dealer charges $20k. easy way for them to maximize profit.

Go to your local bank or credit union. get a loan. PNC Bank is who i use and they basically give you a blank check and you are allowed to write in the numbers on your deal based on what you were approved for. very powerful negotiating tactic. To the dealer, you have cash. Called Check Ready Loan.

Thanks for the information. Going to run to my CU now and see if they have a check ready loan!

I looked at 2020 and 2019 models about a month ago and the one dealership I went to was willing to sell at their 2019s at invoice and was willing to order a 2020 for me at invoice.

If you aren’t able to get the price you want in OKC come down to Dallas. There’s plenty of dealerships here and one of them will have what you want. I can’t comment on your trade since I was only looking at trucks with a cash price.

I ordered my 2020 at invoice, along with some other benefits. PM me for details.

I second this as you can usually get it at 500 over invoice, plus, you get every option you want, not what the dealer is trying to sell you.
I got mine that way. Good luck and give em hell, remember there out to make as much money as possible.

If it is Metro Ford of OKC or Bob Moore Ford, I would expect to be disappointed. I live in the OKC metro area but I flew to St Louis so Laura Ford of Sullivan MO could pick me up and take me to their dealership to get my 2019 Raptor. Got a smoking deal at the time and was in and out of the dealership in less than 2 hours. Would have been out quicker but my CU loan lady went on lunch.

I talked with Metro Ford of OKC and found out they include all sorts of discounts into the price they show on their website. One of them was even a trade in allowance and the conditions were it had to be like three years or newer. So basically I was never going to get that price they showed.

I also talked to Bob Moore Ford on I-35. They didn't even attempt to negotiate any kind of a deal besides MSRP. Probably why they still had a new 2018, several new 2018 Baja Raptors, several 2019 Raptors, and several discounted 2019 Baja Raptors when I was looking. I wouldn't be surprised if they still have the 2018, most of the 2019s and possibly some 2020s by now.

If it is some other Ford Dealer in OKC metro area, I didn't find one that was willing to come off of MSRP when I was looking. Not sure if the last couple of months convinced them otherwise.

Good luck on your quest!

I look forward to hearing what OKC actually does. I'm not sure I believe anything their posting online.

It is Metro Ford. I've had a dealer close(r) to me in Tulsa tell me they are a bunch of liars and there is no way that's the real price. I'm going to get them to send me an invoice before I drive 2 hours there. Good to know about the Trade in Allowance, they told me I could have that. my trade in is a 2012 and if they don't offer that then F them.

I'm also stopping into the Tulsa dealer (River Side) to see what they can do. Might have to start looking at Dallas, it's only 5 hours away.
