looking for a very deep and loud exhaust note for my '12 raptor. i am going to slowly build a pile of parts while i am waiting for mine to come in. i only want to do a cat back system or just cut in a muffler and dump it. i am leaning toward just a muffler and dumping it. 1 option is the

i know some guys here have the magnapack but i would like to know if anyone has used the borla muffler and if its louder than the stinger cat back system borla has and the magnapack. i love the borla sound on the stangs. vids dont always do exhaust systems justice so its hard to tell from them but if u would like to share if u havent in the exhaust thread already plz do.

If you're not in a hurry to acquire the system, MBRP is most likely in the process of designing a turn down cat back system.

I love my Borla, its loud on the outside yet refined in the cabin. I had the Flowmaster Super 44 and it sounded amazing...but the drone in the cabin was way too loud. Be careful of drone with loud mufflers.

I have the Borla Touring Catback. And I really think that it was perfect for me.
It has a deep rumble, but too quiet for your liking (I believe).

• It idles fairly quietly
• Has a quiet deep relatively quiet rumble on low accleration (my wife doesn't notice the noise)
• On moderate and up, the rumble deepens and increases in dB's to the point that wife has commented, "Is that noise coming from this truck?"
• At highway speeds there is a slight deep rumble to soothe your soul (no drone at all)
