what type of subwoofer are you planning on using? a 2.5 in lift is quite a bit. have you thought about shallowmount woofers? a sound processor is a must for these trucks. give me a list of what you have and we can figure out what you need.

i dont have anything right now. I was thinking about going with a kicker ix1000.1 for the subs because you dont have to have a line output converter and then use another brand amp for the mids and highs because ive heard kickers mids/high amps dont sound as good as others. but other that that i have nothing ordered yet

i have never been a big fan of kicker. we dont carry their line. but for the price, you could get a jl audio, arc audio, or rockford amp. they are going to be better than the kicker.
we custom build sub boxes specifically designed to fit the truck, and are offroad ready. meaning that this will stay put when you are hittin the whoops, or doing heavy offroad driving. also, you wont need a seat lift. as far as a sound processor goes, the jl audio clean sweep is unit that always works. with the hundereds we have put in, there just doesnt seem to be any issues. however for extreme builds i would use the mosconi 6to8. jl audio once again takes the speaker category with 4 different 5x7 speakers that will just about drop right in. if you want to go for extreme quality, then focal would be the way to go. as far as a subwoofer goes, i have a few different sizes for the trucks. i have built an 8", 10", 12", and 13.5" it all depends on the type of truck and the bass you want.

this is out level 2b upgrade i just did last week.

jl audio clean sweep, summing device, c3570 front and rear, xd400/4, xd600/1, and 2 shallow mount pioneer woofers. in one of my custom fit boxes. without the sound processor you will have sound quality issues

Raising seats... Never heard of myself actually, how is this done without rednecking it to hell? I won't be doing it but I'm curious always.

The sound system isn't bad but if you have some suggestions to start with I would like to start improving the system.
