I could be wrong, but it's my understanding that the beadlock capable wheels are black and the standard wheels are one of a few things.
The beadlock capable ones are definitely black, with the beauty ring being a dark gun metal. Seen here:

As far as the standard set, I've seen three different types. Black, gun metal, and aluminum. The aluminum sets were only seen early in the pre-production/testing phases and on renderings and the blue Raptor that was on display at NAIAS. This was probably when Ford was undecided on finish, and when those wheels were first made, they didn't care about the finish right away. Seen here:

The darker gun metal is the most popular finish for the standard wheels. Seen on almost every color option. I believe these will be the completed finish when the truck is released. They don't look half bad in my opinion. Seen here:

And finally, I have seen the standard set in black as well. Not as common, and also maybe early in the production stage when Ford didn't have a gun metal finish yet. Seen here on the Raptor daily driven by Greg Foutz:

You could argue that those are the dark gun metal color as well, but they appear black to me. But again, I think the final finish on the standard pack will be the dark grey, and the beadlocks will be black with a dark grey beauty ring.
Or you could just be a trail blazer and go with Methods. I haven't seen that done very much. Could look cool?
