purple/green at the ignition harness grey 10pin plug pin 5

2011 and 2012 ford f150 accessory wire
purple/green at the ignition harness black 7 pin plug pin 6

Sweet, and this is right behind the glove box? I just need to wrap the remote wire around the Purple/Green wire right? I have a 2012

unfortunately not. this is at the steering wheel but its easy to run the wire to there. it should only take a minute or 2

Ahh ok. It's easy to get too. So I just need to pull out the purple/green wire then wrap the remote around it and push it back in right?

sorry 6 hour drive from my house to reno....for a turn on for a amp or anything that is low current you can use a t tap or cut the insulation and solder to it, or a butt connector. it really doesnt matter as long as it doesnt come out

I read on another thread. I'm wiring my amp today but I'll be going to the passenger fuse box. Doing a simple "add-a-fuse" in fuse #38 which is the accessory fuse if I'm not mistaken

vosschs- did you ever get around to connecting that wire?

swampking-those add a fuse can spread out the contacts, so if you ever take it out the fuse might be loose
