I had the MBRP resonator on when I first installed it. I just couldn't get used to the drone so I had a local specialty muffler shop cut the MBRP resonator off and weld in the factory resonator. They didn't even use a tapered fitting, they placed the factory resonator inside the MBRP pipe and filled in the gap with weld. Has been like that since last summer and has worked just fine. Sounds much better.
