Got the bumper on today. Unfortunately I didn't take as many progress photos as I would have liked but here are a few. Big thanks to @DocConstantine for the extra hand and advice throughout the whole install. Took us about 5 hours and that included a trip to Home Depot. And probably an hour of that was fitting the bumper. It mounts to both the OE rear bumper plate and the spring perch, so that made for a very tight fit. Overall I'm happy with the look and for those anxious about doing a dovetail themselves it really isn't a big deal. Once you get past the first cut just go slow, it will work out.

Nice work, tasteful mods! What else is in store? Update your IG a bit more often, please! ha

I've got the Area 51 run at the end of the month so at this point I'm just prepping for that. I'll have a couple photos of the prep and hoping to get a bunch on the run.

I'll probably come back wanting a Lowrance, and 3.0s so those might be next. I also want to change my rear amber setup but as long as I have this WSI Faux Hawk that's on hold. I can't give it away!

In preparation of the Area 51 trip next weekend I decided to give the DIY mid flap mod a try. I already had a 1/2" rubber mat laying around so I took some measurements, made a cardboard template, then cut to size. After that I picked up some hardware and a metal strap from the local HD and mounted everything up. Pretty straightforward. Curious to see how much wear they have after two days in the desert.

Little update:

Miller Designs third brake light - drilled a hole for my antenna mount. Hopefully that's stronger than the roof sheet metal.

Lowrance Trophy 5 - install was a breeze

I like it, that looks great. What brand and make is your rear bumper? Is the hitch built in?
