Time has come to jailbreak the 2014 raptor, but torn between the two brands and would like to hear from those with hands on experience.

My main reasons are front/rear cameras and active nav system while in motion.

Thanks for the information

Lockpick can't tap into the factory front camera. Go with Navtv.

Lock-pick did not figure out the front camera bypass, lock-pick works great for rear camera, nav, and dvd bypass, also works great with after market camera's, but in your case hands down NAV-TV is the way to go for your setup.

I'm leaning towards the Coastal Tech one. I like the plug and play harness. I have to add an aftermarket front camera anyway, so for me it's an option. If you already have the OEM futon camera, the I read nav-TV can use it.

What is the best option for those of us that have to add the front camera? I've got a 2011 that needs a front camera. I want to be able to control the cameras and override nav when driving. I don't really care about DVD's or should I?

The NavTv looks cool but seems like it's the most expensive option when you add in the camera and associated components. Are you really getting any additional value or functionality?

This is the system im using in my 2011, I ran the front and rear being my truck. Didn't have any camera's on it, The Joker is also running the same setup, talk to chris @ https://camera-source.com/products/automotive/ford
He uses the factory brackets with his camera's.

it would appear that the NAV-TV allows for front camera input as well. Is this compatible with the OEM 2012+ front camera? I'd like to add a front camera too utilizing OEM equipment with something like the NAV-TV...?

Yes
NAV-TV Corporation: Audio and Video Interfaces
NAV-TV Corporation: Multi-Purpose Interfaces

I am waiting for the next group buy, but I will be continuing to whine to Ford to just send out an update to enable the front camera.

here, on frf
you can add cameras to the nav tv unit too. i tried out the coastal tech unit, and it works well too, the only problem i ran into is the user interface. other than that, both units will do what you want.
