Ok so I just bought my 2012 Screw few weeks ago. Reading through the owners manual & figuring out all the options. One thing Ive always noticed was I can turn the front camera on through entering truck apps-"enable offroad camera select ok" I press ok on the steering wheel & the front camera comes on-it will stay on until i press "ok" again to turn it off. I tried a dvd to see if it worked & it plays in motion if i press & hold the phone button on the steering wheel.. Any thoughts what system is in it without having to pull the stereo out??

Thanks

If you have lock-pic on your truck ,press and hold the phone button on the steering wheel about 2-3 sec, you should see messages such as , VEIW FRONT CAMERA- Y OR N, VEIW REAR CAMERA-Y OR N, and so on, by pressing the phone button after each message , you will scroll through the menu options, at the end of the menu you should be adle to see the system that is installed, if it is lock pick, at the end of the menu it will ask-( DISCONNECT LOCK-PIC ? " NO" DO NOT, JUST SCROLL PAST.)

Hmm yea i never got the screen that says anything about lock-pic.. or the different option screens. It almost functions like the Nav-Tv but from what understand the front camera dosent work with Nav-Tv right? & the option to turn it on comes on through the truck-apps menu not on the nav screen.

I dont have a clue, how the nav-tv works, there is a post on here about Nav-tv cracking the code for front and rear camera anytime, and function, My imput is for LOCKPIC, if I find the post before you I'll pm you with it.
Also you can contact , FRF VENDER- THE CAR STEREO COMPANY, Noah can help you out with Nav-tv

Definitely sounds like a NAVTV module. What happens of your press your rear defrost twice?

If it displays you're rear camera then it's NAVTV for sure.
