"...a little bit more height."

How much does a whole new leaf pack cost for just "a little bit more height?"

How much height?

How much will it sag with a trailer or full bed?

well a plus 3 should give u another inch. cost varies from our several vendors who sell leaf packs starting at $1000. remember leaf packs are not only giving u height but better ride and performance.

i think your best bet is to call our vendors and let them explain what they think is best for you. u can call RPG, SDHQ, Raptor Addict, Outlaw Performamnce, WSI, TMX i believe they all sell springs and have first hand experience with them

Deaver classifies their springs as a +1, +2 or +3. They were designed with removing the factory block in mind to decrease wheel hop/axle wrap and improve the ride. A +1 leaf spring will lower the rear by 1". The +2 springs will be stock height and the +3 spring will be 1" higher than stock. I have seen people to leafs and blocks to get A LOT more height...but your factory shocks will be too short and it will ride rough.

Deaver +3 springs don't have any more weight carrying potential than the +2's. People that carry a lot of weight in the bed like 2 spares, fuel, jack, tools and other gear run the +3 springs. It's like the F250 vs F350 super duty theory. The F350 doesn't have "more" payload capacity but the rear is 1" higher so you can put more in the bed before the truck sits level front to back.

+2 is the most common.
I've got +3, and if there's nothing in my bed, the rear was always higher with both the icons and the fox's.
The +3 is more for someone who always has 300 pounds of gear in the bed.

I'd say get the +2 hd springs then.
You could get away with the +3 standards if you're not running too much tongue weight on the trailer.
By loading the truck up with that stuff though you will be attempting to reach a compromise with the springs.
You can have it ride as soft as possible loaded, or unloaded, but you can't have both. Set it up for whatever state the truck will be spending most of its time in, loaded, lightly loaded, or unloaded. +2 heavy duty, +3 standards, or +2 standards.

I had Trey help me install the RPG HD Nationals and it was a huge improvement should have done it first. The truck rides better on and off road and I towed a 4,000 lb RV with no problems.

The key for me is will this get rid of the axle wrap. It is amazing to me how much the truck suffers from axle wrap and wheel hop.

Yes, this should eliminate axle wrap. You are getting rid of the 2" block in the rear that the leaf springs attach to which exacerbates the axle wrap.
