Thank you for the post. It's weird that national springs which has more leafs (when compared to stock springs) are actually softer. I imagine being softer makes your rear shocks work more.

Anyhow, you mentioned that with a load in your bed, you are on your bump stops all the time. I have heard similar reports. Some have even said go with HDs to avoid being on your bumps when your bed is loaded. But with an empty bed, HDs spring ride pretty stiff. And hence the dilemma.

they only feel softer because there are more leafs to "progressively" increase the stiffness. since the stock springs have 3 leafs, it's all or nothing, like soft, medium, hard which makes most bumps feel more harsh. with the multi-leaf packs like National and Deaver you can experience a less harsh (described as softer) ride over the smaller stuff with a smoother transition over the larger stuff.

^^ on this.

I assume you don't run the rear factory block so that would make them in a +2" configuration??
Is there any way to get these in 0" or 1"?

Pretty sure plus 2 puts u at stock height after they settle. U can get 0 or plus 1 but that will lower the rear after they settle

Actually that's what I'm looking for. I don't tow or haul much and I want it to sit, at the very highest, level with mid perch front or even better slightly below. That's how the back of my truck sits now with stock springs, block, and Synergy rear shackles. The problem is the bad axle wrap and wheel hop with the block and shackle set up.

well a plus 3 should give u another inch. cost varies from our several vendors who sell leaf packs starting at $1000. remember leaf packs are not only giving u height but better ride and performance.

i think your best bet is to call our vendors and let them explain what they think is best for you. u can call RPG, SDHQ, Raptor Addict, Outlaw Performamnce, WSI, TMX i believe they all sell springs and have first hand experience with them
