they were running a sale back in February so I jumped on it. got mine from nick @ apollo optics. zero complaints and I think they are around 8 pounds lighter than the stock non beadlocks per wheel that I had on before.

Both solid choices. VR's are a little lighter at 24lbs but also give up a little load rating (2600 vs 2750) to the Icon's that are 27lbs. Both are stronger and lighter than stock. If you need a quote let me know. We have most Icon's in stock for the Raptor fitment and we can drop ship the VR's. Icon's definitely win the cost battle.

Lighter doesn't surprise me, but I doubt they're "stronger" than the forged beadlocks. Non-bead base cast 17"s - then yes I'd say so.

Saw the OP went w/ the VR's- I would've too for the weight savings. Every couple lbs per corner makes a diff when you're rolling on 35" AT's
