So I’ve had my raptor for about 3 years and have had no major issues. I noticed when I bought it that there were some holes from a previous owner mounting something by the gas pedal. Today I got bored and looked under the dash above the pedals and found a connector. Followed the purple wire to a splice in the wording harness and found a lot of cut wires to what has transmission written on it almost like the tranny computer. Not sure what is going on here!? Any ideas? The location of the suspected computer is right under the parking brake.

Any part number or anything on that tag? Looks like some redneck zip tie and hack shit up in there lol! I'd be concerned as well, even without any current issues...

I'm going to agree with the remote starter, A remote starter woyld have to see the truck is in park and also to make sure that the truck will not move so I'm going to think that it is a remote starter that was installed by the previous owner and then removed, maybe move to the new truck that he bought
