GEN 1 Mystery Dash Reading - What IS this?

This just appeared on my 2011 SCAB. Trip A has this yellow rectangle with odd symbol on the left superimposed on the normal screen. Trip B is normal. What does this mean and how do I get rid of it, Please?

Sounds like you just press (not hold) the OK button and it will go away.

THANK YOU! That worked. It sure takes a very fast stab on that button, though.
13 years and over 100,000 miles. This is the first time that's happened, and I don't know why it happened.

You paused the trip odometer. It's used to pause the timer/stopwatch.

It's the OK button that activates it and clears it. You have to do it quickly as you found out.

Preety odd feature really- considering they don't even come with a voltmeter.
