I'm predicting custom order 2012 Scab's (Loaded ones) will be built first. Espcialy black ones after all the pigment fuss. God I hope I'm right!? Haha

Then the loaded 2012 Screws SOON AFTER will be built or "Married" in with Scab producton. I'm talking about LOADED MODEL CUSTOM ORDER PRODUCTION.

Side note--one of my jobs is monitoring the flow of Toyota's coming into FL Port from Japan and distributed throughout the Southeast. Oneof my companies uses its Intellectual Property to mark VIN's on every Toyota sold in the Southeast United States. I'm also a Vehicle ID specialist with IAATI. My father started (first to patent) VIN etching in the early 80's. So I know a thing or two about VIN's, VIN Tracking etc.

Some states carry extra favor for model delivery but for the most part...the only thing slowing down vehicle delivery are the OEM parts installed by the Port facility before being shipped to dealers. Or with regards to Tux paint pigment...Toyota is also about finally recovered from it's auto parts supply shortage following the Tsunami earlier this year. This is info from the top gents. FYI

Basic 2012 Screws probably were sent out first for the super tough crap kicker's (with kids) to buy basic family size Raptors yet also test the Torsen, thus, they get it first...b/c that's their style (basic, no options) and Ford wants those folks to get priority in the financial food chain of newly released trucks.

My deaer in CO already has a 2012 Screw (no options) hitting ther lot anyday. I think it's Silver fyi. I have no desire as I want Scab, Tux and loaded minus Graph.

I'd also like to know what region of the US "Boostin" is from. My dealer is out of CO (I'm in Cal) and they really only get Trucks up there in CO @ my dealer aka priority Ford Truck dealer...especially in winter as low rise 2wd vehicles wont make it there around town in Winter. Geographics are important but probably not the answer we are searching for. Trying to help. RAPTOR!! :peace:

Lots of good updates today. Thanks guys.

Dude, 2012 production doesn't even begin until Nov. 7th.

Just what I heard...don't shoot the messenger. I didn't dig for detail on the Screw from my dealer as I had zero interests in the Screw. Again, just what he told me about a week ago when trying to get me to buy during our inital call.

Same happened to me. I just told him that he was wrong and that 2012's hadn't even started in production. He said that he didn't know and would check on it.

11/28?! blah! I'm assuming as time goes on and people get their VIN's, that the date will only get further out. Wonder how many they typically build in a week.

Was hoping for a slight chance of a late December delivery, or early January, but at this rate my luck I'll be one of the LAST to get mine, when my order was one of the FIRST entered into the order banks on 8/26 lol

We could be waiting for a while like you said, but if raptor production starts the 28th I would expect that most would be built. I work at a transmission production plant that make the FWD 6 speed for Chrysler minivans, 200, and avengers. We mostly produce the trans that mates to he 3.6l, but when we do a line change to make trans for the 2.0 diesel or the 2.4 gas trans we make 1500-2000 parts, and we make around 700-1000 transmissions per shift. I'm sure that in 1 week ford could prob produce 100% of the raptors they would need for the year ( they prob won't do this), but it's possible. I assume that their assembly like works similar to ours. I'm just saying keep your hopes up if they start building raptors they will prob build quite a few together or around the same time. Assembly plants are flexable enough to do 1 here and 1 there, but when the hold is lifted it will go very quickly I would assume.

On a side note I get have to hear crap every day because I am buying a ford truck but work at Chrysler. Haha. My 99 2.0l avenger DD just isn't enough for these guys.

I'm in Nor Cal.

Ok, thanks. California is almost it's own region. This could be good or bad. I live n So-cal btw. Good b/c California demand is higher than most states both people and terrain changes in the state. But it is bad for the same reason i.e. more people ordering out of Califrnia= longer wait to receive. So it's a toss up in CA.

Side note--I went all the way to CO to buy mine b/c dealers here in So-Cal wouldn't touch a 2012 custom Raptor order without serious up front cash NOT APPLIED to the Truck. So, thismay have worked to your benefit in CA aka less people have ordered out of CA for this ver reason I ran into 2 weeks ago.

One dealer said he wouldn't even consider ordering me a 2012 Scab Tux Loaded unless I paid him 5K CASH on the spot....again, not applied towards the 2012 Rap purchase. Crooks.

Let's hold onto hope that I'm wrong and you get your 2012 in December! :peace: My order wasn't submitted till 10/31 so I'm probably not getting mine till January for sure

....BUT MY BIRTHDAY IS IN FEBRUARY! So I'm still good if I miss Chrstmas!!! :)
