My Raptor fits in my work parking garage by an inch at the roof.

Very close call. 1st time I drove my Raptor to my new office and the parking garage has 2 metal poles hanging down with 6'6" painted on them. As I pull up I had to open the sunroof and door to check since it is on a slight decline going in.

This is how close it was.

So where I live, there is a lower level and the rest is upper levels.

Sign says 8'. Apparently that is for the upper levels only, I tried to take my truck down to the bottom level and I stopped because logic said to do so. Turns out, there is NO sign for the bottom level and it was 6'5".

Yeah, this happened to me at a hospital, but the garage was signed 6’8”. Unfortunately, the hospital in Largo - whatever the heck it’s called, thinks that the garage entrance is what you measure, not the lowest point, I get in maybe 10-12 parking spaces and there’s a cross beam that there’s no way I’m getting past unless i want a convertible Raptor. I get out, eyeball it, nope, not a ****ing chance. have to shoo the followers past me, and back my way out.

I tried explaining to the attendant that the height sign should reflect the lowest height in the garage, not some random measurement. I got a perplexed look and the response: “Muh bad”.

Just eyeballing it, looks to be a lot more than an inch… But how great that you can drive your raptor to your new office

I've had the exact same situation since I bought my truck. The first few weeks I went to work in the truck were VERY stressful, because of all the vertical threaded rods, sprinkler lines, and drain lines under the slabs above. Eventually, I was able to SLOOOOWLY explore enough of the parking garage to know that if I stay under the 10 mph speed limit, I should be ok, on the 1st Floor and the 2nd deck, where I park. The +/-1" I have clear at the "headache bars" at entries and other "obstacles" within is something you just get used to.
