What makes the huge differences in the build dates on these things?

There was a guy here that ordered in the beginning of Sept and just got it this last week. 7 months and 3 days.

Why the HUGE delays like that? - Then you have this one that is flying through the build cycle?

A lot of the long delays were during the beginning of the new model year. Now they are in full swing of production, build times are getting closer to normal.

From all the reading i've done on here, seems like dealer allocation and combination of options make the most difference on build time.
My dealer had another Raptor on order before mine, but mine is being built first. The other Raptor is a second for the local Search and Rescue Team, so that may be why mine was slated for build first. Who knows. I'm happy!

This makes me upset. I ordered mine march 2nd. March 26th I get an email saying they pulled down my order but he sent me the order form for a 2013 Mustang. I emailed him back asking for my form then on the 30th he tells me I should have an update on my form next week. Here it is now April 11th and he has not returned my two emails or my two voice mails this week.

I am doing my best to not be a nag, I actually only started bugging him after he sent me the wrong form. I even called his sales manager, left a message, no response...

My guess is my order has not been pulled in which case they dont want to tell me. I am about to tell them to drop my order and take my business elsewhere.

OP, I am deeply jealous of your progress, happy trails my brother!

Sorry to hear your disappointment with your dealer. I would go elsewhere

I hate how inconsistent it is... Some guys are getting the truck as they should, others are getting screwed with huge delays.
