My oil change suggestion.

I do like that the Motorcraft oil, filters, etc are conveniently sold everywhere.
I just keep hearing reviews from people who know a lot more about oil than I do saying that Royal Purple is the shizz.

that's what I'm saying, there's gotta be a reason behind that and the fact that people in racing keep touting it as being so awesome. Like I said, I'm no oil expert, just curious to see what all the buzz is about

i spend a ton of money on this truck as it is... I'm not gonna skimp on something as vital as oil -the very lifeblood of an engine- if I deem a more expensive product is vastly superior. Not sure I'm the right guy to write a review on the technicalities of the stuff though.

If you feel comfortable on spending a little more for the oil you think is good for the truck, why not. Might make your truck last a longer in the end.

lol The maker of that very expensive product reccomend something thats still expensive. But if you think RP is worth it, go for it. I am not an oil expert by any means, but if it is better I would never cheopo on any of my vehicles

Bo, RP is good, sure...but AmsOil and Mobil 1 are just as good. Guys who drool over Royal Purple come from a time when synth was sketchy and Royal Purple had a strangle hold on the market...now the differences between the big name synth brands is negligible..except for the price.
