Figured I would update with my just installed 40” curved LED light on the front bumper. I didn’t want to drill into the front bumper so I used the mounting brackets from ZRoadz and paired those with a Rough Country - 76240 - 40-inch Dual Row X5 Series Curved CREE LED Light Bar.

The install was pretty straight forward and I’m pretty happy with the results. The front camera is half blocked but I think I can deal with that. If I change my mind I’ll do something different or relocate the camera. I definitely have plenty of front facing light now!

Love it !

Nice mods and welcome to the forum! Check out what image98 did with his 2017, nice mods and he did the Hellwig too. Having owned a 2016 King Ranch SCREW FX4, while it drove much better than my 2013 Platinum, the one area it needed help with was the lightness of the rear end, caused it to bounce around over rough roads at speed. I too will be adding a Hellwig on my 2018 Raptor. Curious, is the height of the bar lower or about even with the lower edge of the diff?

@eclou - gorgeous garage!
@HotLap - image98's thread was some inspiration for me for sure - I even posted on it to thank him.

Appreciate the comments guys.

Just had XPEL Prime XR tints applied to every pane of glass too. Really pleased the outcome. I went with 35% on the front side glass and 70% everywhere else, including sunroof and front windshield. Really makes a difference down here in hot ass south TX.

Nice writeup! I just installed the same RC Fog kit on my Leadfoot as well. Very please and will be adding the 30" RC behind the grill kit when its back in stock.

My gratuitous garage pic:

Hey I recognize your nickname! Funny how familiar names pop up everywhere! Sorry for the threadjack! :)

I thought that looked funny for a 944...knew it was a 968!

Looked at a YouTube video and some of the threads on the forum on got them all wired up. I may circle back and replace the connectors with something more robust and then shrink wrap the taped areas but overall it works great and I am happy with the result.

A few pics I took along the way:

It's a good idea to mark what wires goes where!

I took the plastic cover off over the radiator area and the wires tucked in there nicely.

I had some connectors lying around so I just used them for now and they allow me to easily disconnect and reconnect if needed.

The unused ground is right there in the area so I just used that.

The final product (for now anyway).

I wired each matched pair (inside, middle, outside) to a separate switch. So 3 switches total for the 6 lights.

They work!

How about a dark night pic of (or vid) of each LED from inside the cab looking down the road? I am going to get a kit but looking at the expensive kits, which of course will have more light, but if these do well I may pocket the extra cash.
