Saw these, did not like 'em.
@2020Raptor I have a GEN 1 but have a Warn Zeon winch. The Sto N Sho removable bracket is an outstanding, well made, product. My Sto N Sho bracket fits directly behind my Factor 55 fairlead. The key to this product is that it is removable, thus whenever I need my winch, I simply pull the pin and I'm good to go. They offer solutions for multiple types of vehicles, and I'm confident that if you have a unique way that you want to mount your front plate that they would work with you.

The Jersey car guys I've been friends with over the years (some for 40+ years) always kept their front plate inside their car. When they got stopped they would tell the LEO that they haven't gotten around to putting it on yet and are sorry. I don't know a single one that has been written in all those years. Has it changed now?

It’s a law in Texas. No front license plate on any of our of cars. I’ve owned the blue EVO X since 2009. Never been pulled over for no front license plate.

Front tags ruin the looks of most cars. See a Corvette for the ultimate example. To me, front tag and tint laws are meant to be ignored.

LE gives me the eye until they see the temp on the back.
Don't want the hassle.

Swarfworks was not shipping or I may have done that.
But I do like this better.

I removed the lower grill & pad piece.
The clips do not respond well to removal & reinstallation.
So I will order a replacement set.

show to LE Swarfworks order!

If you look up "BMW license plate bracket" you will find a solid choice if you're drilling or tapping. The aftermarket ones are better than OEM now...the older OEM had legit metal to metal screws into the bracket. Now they are metal to plastic for new BMWs...wtf. The OEM front Ford bracket is pretty good though...just had to tap for bolts instead of screws. I also hate front plates...can't wait till I can register my cars in Fla

I had no issue with it on my C4. THe designed the plate to be an insert as part of the bumper...not a bolt on extra part. i think that is the difference.

Even in California it’s the law but I have never been pulled over for it. I have a stack of old front plates in my work shop from every truck I have had. Now if you are in a low rider they will pop you in a second.
