So after my last Colorado trip I made the decision that I wanted better rebound control in the rear end and decided on bitting the bullet and getting front and rear Fox 3.0s.
After a couple of months of waiting they arrived sexy as ever. Knowing the 3.0 factory valving is a little harsh I knew I was going to get them re-valved by TSW here in Texas. Which brings me to today.
During the rebuild it was discovered one of the brand new, straight out of the box, bajillion dollar front shocks was missing some O-rings internally. This would have been a “fun time” if I went ahead and mounted them without having TSW do their magic. Then during the mounting the damn top hats we’re not clocked right … ugh. So I guess the point of my rambling is if you get new fox shocks have a good shop do a re-valve on them, unless you’re comfortable and equipped to do it yourself.
Alex and his crew at TSW Hutto TX get major cudos. Not only for their outstanding customer service but identifying and fixing sh*t which shouldn't have been an issue with brand new shocks in the first place.
