Finished up this bed rack for a roof top tent just before our Moab trip. Thought I’d share it.

It’s pretty stout. I think the bed rails would fold before the rack would.

I'd also consider a bed slide... Not only is it nice to have as big of a table as you could ever imagine, but it allows to mount or strap pretty much anything wherever you want.
