Not carmax but I have a dealer wanting my 2019 PB loaded with recaros, 14k miles. They are saying they can give me around 68k. Which is actually 2k more than i actually paid for truck. This leads to my conundrum. I have a stage 2 goose tune, cvf IC, cobb cai, ams boost tubes, cobb accessport. If it all works out and i take offer, is there a market for the used aftermarket parts on here if i pull them off and return it to stock? Or should I just leave it all on and save the hassle?

Sorry if i got off topic of the thread.

2018 loaded, no recaros or carbon fiber or stickers, 59 to 61. That seems really low, however, that was their first offer. 7500 miles.

I sold mine to CarMax two weeks ago... 2019 with 17k - everything except for Recaros, Carbon and Graphics. $61k

They sold the truck for $64,998 within just a few days.

Would be nice to hear also why people traded in, I.e. what they switched to or why they wanted to get out of the Raptor...

my idea was that prices were so high, for a couple 1000 bucks I could switch into a 0 mile 2020 from a 16k 2019.

The only way to avoid sales tax of 8.4% here is to trade it in. And dealer trade in is usually well below Carmax, let alone a private party sale. Dealers have a racket, for sure.

Edit to add: If I had a car I liked that wasn't giving me trouble, I'd keep it rather than risk getting a lemon.

Which is what I did and instead started putting mods on my 2019 ;)

I switch cars often - usually every year or two - so it was time. I use to have 2015 Tahoe and enjoyed the truck, so I decided to go with a Cadillac Escalade. I found a 2018 with super low miles at a really good price, so I bought it.

In all the trades I've done over the years, I've never once regretted selling a car - until the Raptor. I can't believe I'm telling you guys this, but I actually drove by CarMax one morning before work to see her. I even thought about buying her back, but I have more sense than money... so.

I'm keeping a close eye on what Ford does with the Raptor. Maybe a 2021? Time will tell, but I will own a Raptor again.
