As long as you have an 802A, the value of your vehicle changes very little regardless of what options you have: beadlocks, sunroof, graphics, etc.

@Rick@FreedomMotorsports I wish Florida was like that. If you sell a vehicle private sell here, you lose your tax credit.

Ok ill keep you posted. I will def uninstall from truck. The mods have about 9-10k easy highway miles on them. I baby my truck. Never bought it to "Raptor it". It just rode nice, absorbed all the pot holes well, had decent power, and looks great. Anyway ill let u know. I'd be willing to sale it all around half price if shipping terribly expensive.

There’s a market if you’re willing to put in the time to sell. The Accessport alone should sell for around $500; $800 if you have the transmission tune unlocked as well.

If you do decide to part it out, I’d be interested in your Cobb Intake.
Yeah it has cobb and trans tune. Ill make sure its all unlocked for next user. Keep u posted on the intake

The only way to avoid sales tax of 8.4% here is to trade it in. And dealer trade in is usually well below Carmax, let alone a private party sale. Dealers have a racket, for sure.

Edit to add: If I had a car I liked that wasn't giving me trouble, I'd keep it rather than risk getting a lemon.

Why are people selling / getting out of brand new Raptors. Was this a case of I bit off more than I could chew with the payment? WAs it I just dont use the Raptor for whats its designed to do ? Or were you unhappy with the truck for some reason ?
I had no intention until a ford dealer contacted me wanting my truck due to low inventory and the number of people looking for raptors in their area.

They say they are willing to give me high kbb which is 68-70k. Which to me is nuts. I bought it new for much less! In the end, I will have owned the truck for 13 months/ 14k miles and have 25-27k of equity since I only owe 43k on it. So it's a no brainer financially.

I love the truck. But I dont live in an area where I can "Raptor" it. Its my daily commuter pavement queen. I just liked how it rode, absorbed pot holes and bumps, looked, and power vs competitors.

But at the end of the day. Im not attached to anything if the price is right!

Damn, makes me happy with my deal from a few months ago, I purchased '18 802a with all but recaro options, 16k miles, for 53k.

Beyond the initial contact, do you have any of this is writing? And I am assuming this is on a trade and not a buy out.

Not in writing yet. Crossing that bridge next week.. Spent about an hour on the phone with them discussing. They are a few hours from me so didn't want to waste my or their time if this was just "salesman" talk.
The dealer manager assured me he could get the numbers where we agreed. Yes its on trade but as my preference bc of tax credit. They are also willing to do strait purchase/acquisition. I understand they have their money and padding on a new vehicle... my uncle is sales manager at a local dealer so I understand the game.. but made clear this wouldn't be a msrp sale. It will have to be discounted to a degree. But I dont mind if they make a few grand off the new vehicle since I get the tax credit vs strait buy out and loose over 4k in tax credit.

But in short.... yes this could all blow up and be nothing. But after our long talk I'm taking the man for his word at this time. And if it goes to crap... no sweat off my back... i love my raptor. So keeping it is just as sweet of a deal!
