As far as a Positive Displacement blower, well going with a larger TB will make lots more power over a restrictive GT500 TB.
The issue is then are you making to much power for the driveline or stock internals.

Just doing a bigger TB on a FA application is not going to yield any power gains. It's still the same principal,
you need to do a combo of a larger TB and increase the FA pump pressure of what ever FA application your using.
And of course a good dyno Tune.
And even then the gains are not as much as you would think, 20 rwhp at best, again head work, cams, etc. are still needed.

Actually you are wrong on that. Positive Displacement SC is different then a Centrical or turbo setup.

I have to say Ford's SVT guys did a really good job of building the Raptor's 6.2L
I think if you guys just did a Tune and a drop in air filter first and drove for a while,
and then started your mods you would say it wasn't really worth it for the money.

And yet you do not seem to know the difference of input vs output side of a pump. PD your sucking thru in a vacuum on the TB side which has a much greater effect then a blow thru like on a turbo that has the air under pressure thru the TB. The Vacuum the PD creates will see a much larger power boost from a TB size increase. This is why you will see on turbo and Centri blowers have no piping in front of the intake to the compressor

I think you don't understand the whole principal behind FA.

HA.. You realize you are saying this to someone who took Fluid Dynamics in college. You should go do some reading on it and they you will understand why you will see power gains just by replacing the restrictive gt500 TB on you whipple with a Cobra Jet unit

Pump is a pump is accurate, it's pumping air into the combustion chamber by different means of course!

The TB is just blade to allow air into the motor when the PCM demands it, there isn't any mixing of fuel with jets or metering of the air.
It's not a carburetor!
