Not to gloat, but I love the heated steering wheel on my 2022 Raptor. It gets very hot. I have not checked the owners manual but it sure feels like the temperature dial on the heater increases or decreases steering wheel temperature. I never had a heated wheel before but I love mine.

Lol. That would be funny. Mine gets extremely hot and stays that way until I turn it off. Usually after a couple minutes.

I wonder why everybody with heated steering wheels have different experiences? You would think they would all work the same, purchased mine Oct of ‘20 and love having it. Stays hot until I don’t need it and turn it off. I‘m a contractor here in MN and after moving tools around in my trailer or trailer to truck its a must to have heated steering wheel. I would never spend the $ you guys are on ‘23 and not have it, ford screwed up there.

im just saying that my life is def better with a heated steering wheel, but i dont think i'd turn down the truck especially if youre getting it for msrp..

A copper wire with some electricity running through it. Sometimes I think this supply chain stuff is an excuse for these big companies to hide incompetence , inefficiency.....

I get that it's nice and I live in So Cal (Not Cold). But I would never let this be deal breaker. But I guess that is easy to say living where I do.

It is hard to believe Ford can't make this work, or do they just not want to? Of all the parts that go into this truck it seems strange this is what they can't get figured out. Is it a chip issue or copper wire issue? There can't be much to heating a wheel.

Ford definitely wishes they could supply this option, it is pure embarrassment they cannot on their most popular model. Add in competitive advertising mocking them…

To the point above yours the issue is definitely incompetence on the part of their supply chain and sourcing team.
While I am sure given f150 volume they leveraged the supplier for lowest cost, clearly they didn’t think to have any backup supplier or downside protection if the supplier was unable to meet commitment that put f150s at the front of the line. I bet their lowest cost leverage is actually backfiring on them, if the supplier cannot meet demand from ford and other oems they are going to fill orders for the higher profit partners first.

Even worse is not being able to even fulfill the top line lower volume trims like limited and raptor.
