Ive baselined all the fluids and got service history from the dealer a few hours away. A friendly service advisor told me that those services carry a 2 year warranty! Looks like the rear dif on mine was replaced a few years ago.

Next step is to run some leakdown/compression tests on all the cylinders. I checked the upper plugs and they all look good. The lower plugs look like a pain to get to. Im guessing these are best serviced from under the truck?

Just got back from a vacation where I towed my ski boat up the mountain to Lake Tahoe. The truck is performing fantastic, burning no oil, and leaving me with a smile on my face every time I get into it.

You can get to those lower plugs through the wheelwell; either hug the donkey with the front wheel or just jack it up and pull one wheel at a time (what I did and much easier that way).
