Well I am glad to know this ahead of time! I'll have to stop by my friends with some beer, he has a couple more tools than me we'll figure it out. The bedstep extends when you tap underneath it with your foot correct? Have you run into any issues driving over bumpy terrain and it just deploys itself?

also Installed the bed step and it has a few install moment frustrations mentioned above. A flex head ratchet made getying and tightening the frame bolts much easier.

i installed mine drivers side, and it slightly touches the fender flare. Otherwise all good.
