i believe that defeats the purpose of a "flap"

cant wait to see all the damage that thing causes lol

but's it effing carbon fiber (and chrome) bro!! they'll be a perfect match for the shifter, door and dash panels!

Do the husky mud flaps do a good job of reducing splatter on the side of the truck?

While I like the minimalist look of the Husky, they appear to be a bit too small to have the desired effect, they also look very rigid and won't do a whole lot of "flapping"

They do a great job. As a matter of fact, I have 1.5 inch wheel spacers and I still do not get splatter on the side of the truck. In addition, I love how they look. Unlike other flaps, they blend in perfectly and look stock. The only downside that I could see with them is in off-road situations where you could hit them on something and need more flex (they are rigid plastic).

What would you need for a flap to keep splatter off the side? Tire pokes out how far when you turn and no slop on side of truck? Man that must be good stuff you are smoking

Who are you replying to? Per your comment, it sounds like buying any kind of mud flap would be a complete waste of money, but you are wrong. When the tires are aimed straightforward, a good mud flap will stop nearly all debris from hitting the side of the truck. When the wheel is turned as you mention above, the tire is actually throwing a majority of the debris away from the truck while the truck is simultaneously moving away from the debris being thrown. In really nasty situations will the mud flap work perfectly, probably not, but for most street uses, the Husky mud flaps work extremely well and I do not see any mud /salt splatters on the side of the truck.

Yea well go to it. Take a sloppy road and you can not put enough flap on. So you need them as big as you can work with and a mid flap. 10 miles and side windows are still splattered. But have at it
