A.I.I... you know of some good spots to romp that are in close proximatey to us? Ocotillo is where i typically go but the 3 hour drive makes it tough for a single day outing.

We pretty much stay in the Lucerne, Barstow, Cal City area's. With the occasional trips to Oco and Glamis.
If you want real close, you can always check out Holy Jim's out by Cook's Corner.
I know there are many places to run in the Elsinore hills as well as area's in Escondido, but I've never run these place's, so I would be of no help on where to start.
We don't ever do day trips for that very reason, by the time you get out there its time to go home, so we mainly do weekend or overnight trips.

Thanks bud. I've definitely put some time in out at Holy Jims back in the day with an old ranger i used to beat on.

I'm probably going to give Lucerne a try one of these weekends.

at one point in the video, the cracked white terrain looked to me like the Bonneville Salt Flats......



what do you guys think? Is that a possibility, or do you have terrain that looks like that in your neck of the woods?
