I currently have the Morimoto XB headlights. Much better than OEM, but not as good as I want them to be for the price. They look great, especially with only the DRLs on. But the light output of the headlights (both low and high beams) aren't all that great. I remember when I retrofitted my own headlights on my Tacoma and they were suuuuuper nice.

Trying to decide if I should go the RaptorRetrofit path or stick with these.

Anyways to mod the morimoto XB? I like them but the light output is too weak...
I'm sure you can, but no one has done them. Probably requires a lot of modification and would cost a lot of money for both the person customizing it and consumer.

Best thing to do it sell them and get retrofitted headlights like I did.

I've had mine for some time now and the voltage regulator is starting to fail, Dawson (owner of Raptor Retrofit) responded to my emails over Christmas and is getting me taken care of. Kudo points for awesome customer service.

I have the MM XB with the amber/orange DRL, the light output is way better then the stock HID's. The only issue I've been experiencing is that the turn signal light on the passenger side will start to flicker in the cooler weather, the flicker goes away if you turn on the headlights, but I like the look of the MM with only the DRL on. This doesn't seem to be an issue in the summer months, but it would be nice if the flicker could be remedied. Otherwise, I am very pleased with the MM XB lights.
