GEN 2 More on aux/upfitter switch wires & pass through wires

I will double check mine but the 6 wires above the psgr wheel well are all hot and the correct color that's in my manual, Why would they do that? Maybe they just want to annoy us.

Anyone confirm if the Raptor supplement for model year 2020 is correct? Are the hot aux wires closest to the fuse box and pass through closest to the engine? I was hoping it was flipped as it was in my 2018; the wires closest to the fuse box are dang short and the other set are nice and long.

Well I may have answered my own question; just connected to brown wire (aux 4) and its dead; it is either my crack wiring or my 2020 is wrong just like my 2018 was.

I really need to put a volt meter on it all and test; why can’t the owners manual be correct?

So 2020 colors I believe are correct in the supplement but the location is wrong; hot wires are taped to a big electrical plug in on the right not left as manual describes.

To use the add-a-circuit fuse tap...what size fuse do the 2019s use? I see ATS, ATC, micro, mini, etc. I stopped at Autozone to grab one and there were 4 sizes and I was stumped on which one was the right one...

Also, to use one of the pass through wires to connect to the add a circuit fuse tap (for the amber backlighting on the radiance scene pods I bought), is a piece of wire needed to go from the passthrough wire to the add a circuit or is the pass through wire long enough already? If a piece of wire is needed, what gauge wire and does the pass through wire already have a butt connector crimped on or do we need that too?

is there an easy way to tap into a source of switched power for my valentine1 radar detector. I would rather it be connected to some power source that comes on when the ignition switch is on and not have to use any of my upfitter switches. thx in advance

For my 2019, pass thru on the passenger side, hot on the drivers. Wiring color was the same as the 2018. My manual was correct on the colors too. I guess I got lucky???

Confirming this is correct. Installed my front lights recently, and referenced the manual in my 2020. The picture in there is wrong and shows backwards. The outermost wires are actually pass through, while the innermost bundle has power from upfitter switches.
This is good because the pass through wires are harder to reach and shorter, which would be a pain to put connectors on. The hot wires are higher up and allow easy access for putting on terminals.

I'll get a pic of the engine bay and the manual.
