In this scenario what would be the benefit over replacing with a new decal?
Just because it can be done doesnt mean you should do it.

Again, simply meant vinyl can be put over vinyl. I have Rappy graphics Ford lettering that came as blue outlined, I then used my vinyl machine to cover it with yellow and it’s been fine for a year.
