Most carbon fiber will yellow over time when exposed to UV rays. A thin layer of ceramic coating should prevent it from yellowing for several years, or alternatively you can wax and polish frequentlyKeep an eye on the CF pieces, I believe Ford sources them from Anderson Composites. Mine faded quickly and turned yellow, for what they cost they shouldn't do that. I was told I should've had them re-cleared with a better clear (automotive). I went back to stock parts, lesson learned (stay away from CF).
I've been thinking about doing the same lower grille insert. Can you tell me what parts were needed to pull that off? Looks great!I’ve finally finished the mods to my ‘24 801a to make it look like “I” think it should come from the factory. (I know there will be dissenting opinions and that’s cool.)
