You don't need more power because you'll out drive the suspension...

Dumbest thing I've heard. It holds a little truth but be real, you'll take as much power as you can get because that's part of the experience.

Do we need 707hp hellcats and 1000+hp veyons? Nah, the speed limit is only 75mph so all that power is wasted....see how dumb that sounds?

If you dont think more power is better in any vehicle you're a damn ******.

The point is that it really isn't important for what we use this truck for. I've dumped a lot of money in my truck and it would **** a gen 2 off-road, I could have broken off a fraction of what I've spent and get one of the 700hp sc kits but it's just not important, suspension is. Maybe some day I'll slap a whipple on but it will only be for the sake of novelty and will be largely unusable off-road.

Sorry thug hunter but the raptor is not going to "beat the shit out of sports cars" of today that's just flat out ignorant.

It better be faster then the previous gen, more hp,tq and lighter weight guarantee it's faster, I don't believe anyone disputed that?

First off, I never said sports cars "of today", but regardless of era, is the 2016 V6 Mustang or 2016 V6 Camaro LT not considered a sports car in your book? Beats both of those in 0-60 and the quarter per Car and Driver. Beats a couple 2 door BMW's that I looked up too, which are also marketed as sports cars. If manufacturers are going to be ignorant in calling them sports cars, I'll go ahead and say the Raptor will beat the shit out of some sports cars on the street today. When I see the 2017 Screw put up the same numbers as my G8 GT did in stock trim, I'll say it'll take care of plenty of cars marketed as sports cars today and won't feel ignorant in saying it in the least bit.

Not too shabby for a pickup that produces sports car performance on the street and can run in the Baja in stock trim.

I wouldn't consider a whole new suspension 'stock trim' either

I didn't feel like getting into that but I'm glad you did.

I don't either, but insurance companies surely do.

Insurance companies also believe raptor owners wreck their trucks while out for quiet Sunday drives, they aren't the smartest cookies.
