I talked about this earlier in the thread... gonna ask again! Anyone going to the Eastern Jeep Safari in Moab between 03/28 and 04/05? I totally forgot this would be the EJS week...

The better half and I are spending a week traveling AZ and UT and we will be in Moab during this event... We can't change our dates as my wife is on spring break during this time...

It would be nice to find some other Raptor owners out here during this time

a stock raptor will do great. honestly nothing that you can't handle. Its a lot of fun wash out trials and some rock crawling. If you want fast you can do that also.
Only thing you should bring with you is a camera and maybe a radio. Its always good to be able to chat with everyone while on the trail

Although stock Raptors are capable and you may not "require"any additional gear, a radio for communications is very important and fun. On the Carolina meet ups we ask folks to have a radio and if the new guys don't have one we have a few amongst the group that can lend out handhelds. It doesn't take long before they want to buy a radio to partake in the fun comms.

Basic list of supplies like INI mentioned is a VHF radio, a good spare tire, water/food, first aid kit and some tools. After that a descent jack but with this many people on the run, most likely someone else will have one. Obviously lots of big ticket items that can be added but a stock Raptor will do just fine.

I will be out sat. The hotels bump up to about 300 bucks a night for jeep safari.
