Missing front camera

Even though my 2012 came with the luxury and nav package I didn't have a front camera. SVT (very helpfull on all my questions) told me my dealer didn,t order it even though it was part of a package and it can't be added later due to software integration...WTF !!!! I need it for rock navigation at high tide on the beach.I,m getting to old to be jumping in and out to check. Now what ?

When you bought the truck did you see the option on the sticker price?

there are companies that sell aftermarket cameras you can get and have them work on your nav, my buddy just put a rear and front camera on his 09 srt8 challenger and they work with his stock nav

yeah sorry to hear that. You'll have to get an aftermarket or ask the dealer how much will it cost to add the front camera. hmmm.. I also thought that the fornt camera is included in the luxury and nav package. By the way the front camera only works if you turn on the dif lock 4x4L

Front camera is a separate option in addition to the Nav.

Spoke on line to Ford tech rep.The build and price and the brochure do not list the camera as seperate option.Your sales rep has to catch this hidden option for you.Ordering the right combo package will not get you the camera.this should be added to this site's odering fyi. I'm not happy. And yes I know I have options.
