HELL I ZONA
MTF I have my main cooling fans wired special for summer . 1 fan comes on with key on. 2nd fan i can control with aux 4 switch. Heat exchanger and transcooler fans i control with aux switch 3. With all 6 fans on full speed it sounds like a jet turbine lol. When it cools off in October I swap fan wiring to regular computer control. Low speed and high-speed. This is summertime only was 116 today. Takes me 2 min to swap fan connectors. Last 2 years I finally have decent fluid Temps on everything and 38 degrees out of a/c vents

If you're worried about foreign manufacturing quality, stay away from Mishimoto then..

CSF isn't a small company. They supply OEM's and have huge pull with manufacturing. Chinese mfg doesn't mean low quality, it depends what you're paying and you're relationship with suppliers.

That being said, the three mentioned will all do well.
Yeah, this thread is convincing me to stay away from Mishimoto. The CSF being over $200 cheaper was cause for concern for me. I'll keep it on the possibility list for now then.

Did you ever get your Tune adjusted for the OEM radiator fans to turn on sooner and a higher percentage?

That solved it for me, I've talked about that for years on this forum.
It's crazy, you have three layers of air reducing fined coolers,
1) being Tranny and Power Steering coolers,
2) the AC condenser,
3) the radiator.
How in the heck is air supposed to flow freely throw them, is beyond me.
I have a JDM tune for the supercharger, but I haven't specifically asked about the fans. I would assume JDM would do it right, but I can ask.

You can ask, I know they likes leaving the 195 thermostat in with their Tune, so I'm not sure if they will do the fan adjustment.
I do remember JDM doing a summer and winter Tune for someone, I think it was @metronyc

It took me some battling with Whipple's Ford Tuner to do it, until I meet him him and he had the truck on the Dyno.
Don't forget the cooler the engine the more power she'll make and I'm pretty much up there with a stock block.
In the winter months I'm a little less aggressive when it's 20 degrees or colder out.
At those temps I pretty much have to drive with rear locked and/or 4x4 high, otherwise all she does is sit and spin.
I guess I could always go back up one size with the SC pulley and lose some boost,.... who am I kidding, screw that. LOL

I put in the Mishimoto about a month ago. Quality is amazing, slips right in and works great. Been in 115 degree heat in AZ and more than enough cooling. AC full blast and temps never moved. I was installing a winch and IC relocation and I figured what the hell, I might as well upgrade the cooling while I had the front end apart. Very glad I did it. Truck has less than 2000 miles and I expect the dealer will have a cow if he sees the inter cooler relocation.

No experience with the Mishomoto for the raptor but put one in my wife’s Mustang Cobra years age and ended up swapping it twice for leaks. They were great doing the warranty only requiring pictures of the leak and no return of the defective.

I'd going with a company known for heavy duty racing parts. Mishimoto is OK, but they aren't that.
