Thanks, Blue, Iron, and Andy. I was contemplating a call to my dealer, but now I can just drink a beer!

And thanks to datasutin, I'm actually happy - I not sure that "integrated" anything is necessarily a good thing.

Looking at FordPartsGiant, and they want $12 for shipping for a total of $32.

Does Randy do parts orders?

I'd go to my local dealer but my experience getting the storage bin was oh-so pleasant....

Yes! Search Mike Nobles, Randy's parts manager.

Nice Mod. Never thought of this till I read this thread.

Stopped into my local Ford store and picked the deletes up yesterday. They look great. Big improvement!

Thanks for the suggestion :waytogo:

I just used some semi gloss black paint for mine. The can was laying around so pretty cheep and easy.

I sanded down the outside then wiped it down with paint thinner. Then painted about 4 coats on each one and this is how they turned out.

Oh and I used the aerotec tint for the blinker. I felt it was to bright at night and plus it looked out of place.

That does totally minimize the visual impact of the mirrors. Would a strip of vinyl sticker material work as well? Just 'wrap' the reflector?
