I get anywhere from 15-16 mixed city and a little bit of highway. Highway only, light on the pedal I hit 22 mpg...

if i baby it and keep it on the highway at 65mph...i can get 19

if i baby it with mixed driving...i can can get 16

if i dont care and just drive...i can get 14

Oh this is where the Raptor drivers that merge at 45 hang out. If I looked down at a fuel fill and saw 16 mpg on my dash I’d spend all day trying to get it back down to 11 and 12’s, or go trade it in on something more economical. On Monday evening I had a 90 mile run heading home at 2am, had the cruise set at 100...you boys ever get your trucks over a hundred??? You oughta try it... I hear they’re making the Ford Ranger again, maybe y’all oughta look at that.

People lie about their gas mileage like they lie about the size of their well you get it. Yes there are people who merge at 35, content driving in the fast lane at 5 under and like to treat their truck like a Prius, that or they have that stupid insurance module that lowers your insurance if you drive like you’re driving Ms. Daisy. I merge like man, as in by the time I get on the freeway I’m not holding anyone up. I set my cruise at 80 in a 70...I get 10.9 to 11.3 being my best and sometimes when I have to shake some jack ass from Washington state who thinks he’s going to use me as a radar detector I’ve gotten 9.8. Funny thing is, exactly about the same as I get in my 2014 Raptor. It’s a lot like diesel truck owner pulling a 35 foot 5th wheel and lying about getting 21 or 22...doesn’t happen.

I love overconfident posts like this. But I'd expect as much from people like @Redleg.



But just in case some say I don't enjoy my truck
